Dr. Angelo Consiglio of Marathon, Florida, received his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, and is board certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. Having practiced medicine for more than 30 years, Angelo Consiglio, MD, is currently serving as the area representative of Southwest Florida with Golden Heart Senior Care. In addition to his professional responsibilities, Dr. Consiglio holds membership on the credentials committee and was appointed chairman of the department of surgery at Fishermen’s Community Hospital in Florida.

Dedicated to providing the highest quality of medical care, Fishermen’s Community Hospital surgical department offers the most advanced surgical team and technological equipment. Providing surgical services for inpatient and outpatient care, Fishermen’s Community Hospital boasts an ambulatory surgery section, state-of-the-art equipment, a separate endoscopy suite, and three large operating rooms, allowing for surgeons and staff to focus on patient care.

The Fisherman’s Community Hospital surgical department offers services involving, but not limited to: general vascular surgery, colon and breast cancer, men’s health, gynecological procedures, plastic and reconstructive treatment, and orthopedic surgery. Post-surgical services at the facility offer a Post Anesthesia Care Unit which allows medical staff to monitor vital signs of recovering patients in a relaxed setting.
